    Pleasant pub, friendly staff. Nice outside area for those balmy evenings. Serve Harvey's ale which is a top vote for me.

    A beautiful place to sit and sip a drink. Marvellous. The staff is not very competent and the public room is not at all as impressive as the building. It needs care and love.

    While The Old Bell looks wonderful from the outside, the inside comes as a bit of a shock. It's like they're not trying! Dated, disinterested decor from the seventies, no effort to make it welcoming, a place that promises much but fails to deliver on a scale that many other local pubs seem to achieve quite easily. On the plus side, two real ales on tap, both very well kept and delicious.
