  This is a truly spectecular place. Venerable old buildings; a gem in a golden setting. Food and service however are hotel-like, not at all in line with the setting. Food was mediocre and service was impersonable.

  Brilliant hotel! Every room is different and very charming. Creaky doors and low beams adorn the place. Great food and bar, and the staff are all very welcoming and engaging! Would stay again and again - 5 stars

  Very interesting hotel with a very long history. Great experience for those that enjoy historic locations that makes you feel like you're time travelling! If driving here, bring a small car as parking is very limited and spaces very tight. Good want the best, so you might want to book elsewhere.

  Fabulous old building with lots of interesting features on an ancient cobbled street. Clean room with comfortable bed but we could not sleep with the window open due to a fire exit stakes being right outside which would have allowed anyone access to the room. A fan was supplied. Pleasant staff and a nice, albeit somewhat expensive stay. Recommended but try to drive the price down. The breakfast was excellent and the friendly service by the waiters was super efficient.
