- 5 / 5By Richard PrenticePopped in after a meal not expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. Not only did they have a very good Alentejo Portuguese vinho tinto but the place was warm and friendly. Wine barrells and log fire make for a great feel. The owner was very amiable and welcoming. Typically, found it at the end of our stay but will ensure it is the first, inbetween and last place next time we are in Rye. Yes it is cheaper to get a bottle from the supermarket but this place adds much to the flavour and experience.February 14, 2017
